Coach Wesley Fesler has been holding basketball practice for his proteges in the Indoor Athletic Building during the past three weeks, drilling his men on fundamentals. Occasional scrimmages have been held between the Varsity and Junior Varsity candidates in the night practices every Tuesday and Thursday during the fall.

The Varsity hoopsters will open a 22 game schedule on Wednesday, December 13 with Boston University with the hope of revenging a slim 22-19 defeat at the hands of the Bostonians last year. This season's schedule includes two games with each of the member teams in the Eastern Intercollegiate League: Yale Princeton, Dartmouth, Pennsylvania, Cornell, and Columbia. Yale won the league title last year.

Heading the list of returning letter men are Captain Joseph F. Ferriter '34, a guard, and Richard C. Boys '35, lauky center, and William C. Crawford '35 and William Henderson '34 are forwards coming up from the Junior Varsity. Eugene W. Merry '34, is another veteran forward, Robert K. Morse '35, a center also, has come up from the Jayvees.

Last year's Freshman team is represented by George V. Comfort '36 and Richard C. Ernst '36 at forward: Roger M. Silsby '36 at center; and James G. Grady '36 and Arthur M. Fields '36 at guard.
