COMPLETE CAST OF 32 ANNOUNCED FOR PUDDING COMEDY

Hewlett, Author of Book, Has Made Effort To Provide Continuity For This Year's Production

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After two months of rehearsals the Hasty Pudding Club show "Step Lively" is prepared to go before the public on Wednesday night with a cast of 32 actors, chorus "girls", and stokers. The complete cast was announced last night for the first time.

"Step Lively" will be the eighty-seventh annual spring production of the Club and the first to have any real continuity. R. S. Hewlett '33, who has written the book, has made a special effort to provide a central theme on which to tie the Harvard House Plan's Handsomest Heroes, some beautiful "girls," and the skillful dancing of W. f. Draper '35 and R. S. Hewlett '33.

Comedy On Liner

The comedy takes place on board the S.S. "Iambic" as that vessel steams towards France. A bad case of mistaken identity provides the central interest, as pirates board the ship armed with typewriters. The first performance will be given on Tuesday, but will be restricted to former members of Pudding shows. On Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 8.30 o'clock the show will be presented at the Pudding Clubhouse, and will be open to the public. The stage will be transferred to the Repertory Theater, in Boston, for the Friday and Saturday performances.

The cast will be made up of numerous chorus "girls," pirates, and stokers, as well as the following: Willie Porter  R. S. Hewlett '33 Bob Holden  J. H. Leatherbee '33 Shirley  W. F. Draper '35 Professor Crawfish  Robert Breckenridge '34 Cyprian (professor's young son)  J. T. Dennison '34 Bertram Bannister (pirate chief)  A. M. Jones, Jr. '35 Twitter  W. A. Munroe '33 Aunt Caroline  Albert Pratt '33 Bartender  Stuart Scott '33 Steward  W. B. Cudahy '34
