608 FRESHMEN TO OCCUPY ROOMS IN HOUSES NEXT YEAR

All Houses Except Dunster Will Make Changes in Personnel--Additions to Other Units To Be Published Friday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

It was announced at University Hall yesterday that 608 Freshmen have been assigned to the Houses as compared to 579 in the first assignment last year. Men on the waiting list who have not yet been assigned will be kept on the list unless they withdraw their applications, and will be considered for any vacancies which may later occur.

It was also learned that in all of the Houses except Dunster there will be changes in the tutorial staff of the House for the coming year. The list of Freshmen admitted to Adams, Dunster, and Eliot Houses are published today. The lists for the other Houses will be printed in the CRIMSON on Friday.

New Tutors Announced

J. P. Baxter, III, Master of Adams House, announced that M. A. Shepard would replace H. L. Elsbree '25, who has accepted a position as assistant professor of Government at Dartmouth. There will probably be a tutor appointed to take Professor Hopper's position for the coming year and there is a possibility that the staff next year will include a tutor in Biochemistry.
