Harvard's Jayvee football team succumbed to the attack of a strong Dartmouth Junior Varsity eleven yesterday on Soldiers Field by a score of 18-6, in a game featured by a thrilling 103-yard run by Roper of Dartmouth.
The Crimson scored first in the initial period, when Dan Greeley broke through and blocked a Hanover punt on the 25-yard marker. Pierce Fuller rushed the ball over for the lone Crimson score.
The Green came back strong in the second and third periods to register three tallies on runs by Roper, Axelrod and Lesedrze which clinched the hard-fought contest.
