Winthrop House defeated Kirkland House by a close score of 32 to 30 in the inter-House swimming meets held yesterday afternoon. At the same time Eliot House was victorious over Brooks House to the tune of 38 to 24. In the latter meet George A. Dodge, 2nd '37, of Eliot House broke the house record of 59.2 seconds in the 100 yard free style by doing it in 52.1 seconds.
