TUFTS BASKETBALL MEN SWAMP CRIMSON, 49-29

HARVARD PASSING ATTACK FAILS TO CLICK AGAIN

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Displaying the same poor passing attack which has characterized its other games of the season, the Harvard five went down to defeat at the hands of Tufts last night, 49-29. Merry was high point scorer of the game with 18 points, and Grinnell and Kavanaugh starred for the victors with 16 markers each.

Harvard put up a spirited attack during the early part of the game and managed to gain the lead for two minutes, but the uncanny shooting of Kavanaugh and Grinnell soon proved too much for Fesler's men. As the half ended, Tufts was leading by the score of 22 to 16.

After two minutes in the second half, Merry finally sank a sucker shot and ended 13 minutes of scoreless playing for Harvard. The Crimson had difficulty in finding the basket and failed to follow up when opportunities were offered.
