Numerous Books Published By Prominent Professors

Langer And Fay Among Those To Finish Works During Summer

Numerous members of the Harvard faculty have profited by the hot summer days to produce various large, learned, and esoteric books on their various fields. Prominent among these are William L. Langer '15, associate professor of history who has prepared a volume on the middle nineteenth century entitled "Liberalism, Nationalism, and Socialism", and Sidney B. Fay '96, professor of history, who has written "The Great Illusion" which deals with the years immediately leading up to the Great War.

C. Crane Brinton '19, assistant professor of history, is also among the ranks of the authors, and has completed his book, "A Decade of Revolution". Carl Friedrich, associate professor of government, whose book "The Emergence of the Modern State" deals with the history of Europe from 1610 to 1660.
