In answer to the long-felt need for Inter-House debating the Debating Council has organized an Inter-House Forum under the direction of Gilman Sullivan '36, chairman of Inter-House debating.
Sullivan stated last night: "The Inter-House Forum marks the beginning of a new era in informal discussion in the University. We hope to give every man a chance to learn to speak."
In the first forum to be held Thursday night at 7.30 o'clock in Lowell House the topic "Should Censorship be Abolished" will be discussed in seven minute speeches by Thomas H. Quinn '36, Charles E. Feibleman '36, and Sullivan. Afterwards speakers from the floor may talk for three minutes in a forum not to last more than an hour. All members of the University are invited to attend.
Two other forums will be held during the Spring term.
