As the first venture of any Freshman class into the theatrical world, the Freshman Dramatic Club will present "The Queen's Husband" by Robert Sherwood, tonight and tomorrow night at 8.30 o'clock, in the Pi Eta Club theater, located at 1 Winthrop Street.

The play, directed by Kenneth C. R. White, instructor in English, is a satire on English royalty. Sherwood is celebrated for two previous successes, "Reunion in Vienna," made famous by Alfred Lunt and Lynne Fontanne, and "The Petrified Forest," in which Leslie Howard smashed box office records in New York City.

The four honorary theatrical patronesses are Ina Claire, Margaret Barker, who starred in "Men in White," Mildred Natwick of "The Distaff Side," and Clara Butler, who played the title role in the Dramatic Club's "Sarah Simple."

The cast, in order of appearance, includes George H. Reed as Frederick Granton; Howard Patch, Jr., as Phipps; Frederick P. Gray as Lord Birton; Richard Sullivan as Petley; Miss Norma Taylor as Princess Anne; Miss Mary G. Williams as Queen Martha; William L. Batt as General Northrup; Henry H. Reed, Jr. as King Eric VIII; John MacD. Graham as Major Brent; Harry B. Sanderson as Prince William, Herschel T. Berman as Laker; and A. Jerome Himelhoch of late fame in the peace strike, as Dr. Fellman of anarchistic leanings.

The play was originally scheduled for Friday, April 12, but the Queen's husband was suddenly measled, necessitating a postponement.
