Freshman Team Edges Cambridge Latin Contingent 7-3

Paced by Peto Stone's four goals, the Freshman hockey team defeated an unexpectedly powerful Cambridge Latin sextet by a score of 7-3 at the Garden yesterday afternoon. The invaders tallied all their goals in the second period.

Except for the exhibition of the speedy left wingman, the Yardlings were unimpressive in ringing up their fifth victory of the season. The other three goals were scored by Captain Austie Harding, who caged the rubber twice, and Jim Jameson.
