Eight Juniors and Sophomores Appointed Members of Council

Whole New Council Will Meet for Choice of President and Secretary-Treasurer

Five Juniors and three Sophomores were appointed members of the Student Council on Wednesday evening as follows:

Juniors

Charles William Kessler, of Salem, chairman of the Kirkland House Committee and member of the football team.

Chester Wallace MacArthur, of Mount Vernon, New York, chairman of the Winthrop House Committee.

Walter Hines Page, 2nd., of New York City, resident of Eliot House and football manager.

Thomas Wilson Stephenson, of Wilmington, Delaware, resident of Lewell House.

Charles Moorfield Storey, Jr., of Brookline, managing editor of the CRIMSON.

Sophomores

Morris Earle, of New York City, resident of Leverett House and an editor of the CRIMSON.

Joseph Patrick Kennedy, Jr., of Bronxville, New York, resident of Winthrop House and member of the football and rugby teams.

Vernon Henry Struck, of Centralia, Illinois, resident of Adams House and member of the football and basketball teams.

These men were appointed by the recently elected members of the new Council; Thomas H. Bilodeau, John B. Bowditch, Emile Dubiel, C. Colmery Gibson, George G. Hedblom, and Neil G. Melone, Juniors; and C. Russel Allen, John L. Dampeer, and Francis Keppel, Sophomores.

The entire new Council of 17 men will meet today at 5:15 o'clock with Thomas H. Quinn '36, retiring president, to elect officers for 1936-37.
