A championship in indoor baseball, second place in football, and a third in squash have helped Kirkland House to amass 601 1/2 points, placing the Deacons in the lead for the Intramural All-Sports Trophy.
Although the Puritans can boast of both the football and hockey championships, they trail Kirkland by 6 1/2 points. This is due chiefly to a large number of defaults, each deducting between five to ten points, depending upon the sport. The standings to date are: Kirkland, Winthrop, Eliot, Adams, Dudley, Dunster, and Leverett.
