NOBLE AND GREENOUGH BEATEN BY '41 SEXTET

Schoolboys Halt Visiting Crimson Until Final Frame When Yardling Rally Leaves Score 2-1

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Held scoreless until the last period by an aggressive schoolboy sextet, the Freshman hockey team defeated Noble and Greenough in a snappy, last minute rally at Dedham yesterday by the score of 2 to 1.

Hulse Tallies

Rough outdoor ice and the absence of side boards hampered play until the final frame when the visiting offensive finally began to click. Curtiss netted a pass from Gray in 3:36 and Fuller tied the score on a solo dash by slipping a hard shot past goalie Hanford in 6:45.

After a succession of melees in front of the home team's goal Hulse rifled the winning tally through Harding net tender for the schoolboys, on a pass from Cox.

Another acid test of the season will be presented today when Andover invades Crimson territory and threatens battle on the Boston Arena ice at 2:30 o'clock. No comments were forthcoming last night as to relative power of the outfits, except that Andover was considered strong.
