First Law School Yearbook Given Out at Brooks' House

Publication Unique, According to Editor Steadman

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Distribution of 1260 copies of the Law School's first yearbook began at Brooks House yesterday afternoon.

"It's the first publication of its kind at any law school." Charles W. Steadman 3L, editor, said yesterday. He explained that the profits from the book, which was underwritten by Phillips Brooks House, will be returned to the P.B.H. law library fund, and predicted that annual publication will be established.

Including articles by James McC. Landis, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Roscoe Found, University professor, the book contains pictures of the entire student body and faculty of the Law School.

The purpose of the book, according to the foreword, is "to aid in bringing about a greater cohesiveness in the classes, to provide a medium whereby the student may breaden the scope of his friendship and acquaintance, and to serve as a dignified record of the School."
