BOB JAMES DEFINITELY OUT OF VIRGINIA GAME

Sophomore Back May No Play in Yale Fray Either Because of Injury in Scrimmage Monday.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Bob James, sophomore tailback injured in scrimmage Monday afternoon, is definitely out of the Virginia game and probably out of the Yale fray also, it was revealed last night by coaching officials. Harlow's third string tailback completed three out of four passes in the Army game, one of them for a touchdown.

The loss of James saw the shift of Ray Jones, former J. V. star and a Varsity wingback so far this year, to the tailback post. Jones will thus have the play-calling assignment under Frank Foley and Austie Harding.

Meanwhile, the three-cornered fullback fight between Ben Smith, Mike Cohen, and Joe Gardella went on during yesterday's practice. Although Smith was listed to start Saturday's game against Virginia, Joe Gardella held down the "A" team spinning position yesterday. Smith and Cohen alternated on "B".
