In yesterday's House baseball games, the Deacons stretched their unbroken winning streak with a 3 to 1 win over Leverett, as the Goldcoasters edged Dunster 5 to 3.

Phil Ross pitched a bang-up game for Kirkland, with Ernie Smith, Marty Evers, and Dick Mudge backing him up on the attack.

Pitcher's Victory

It was a pitcher's victory over Adams, with Charley Ruch restricting the Funsters to 5 hits as he went the route, and belying the old tradition by knocking out two base hits. Merrill and Woodward shared the pitching duty for the losers, with the former doing the bulk of the work.

Brown and Durant, playing at the number one and number two spots, paced the Lowell linkmen to victory over the Elephants, 6 to 3. In other matches, the mighty Kirkland was tied again, this time by Adams; the Winthrop-Leverett encounter was called off.

Leverett Beats Dunster

On the courts, Leverett triumphed over Dunster 5 2, as Grant, Davis, Kahn, Day, and Mills won. The Goldcoasters blanked Winthrop 7 to 0.

Tomorrow Eliot faces Lowell and Winthrop is scheduled to take on Dudley in baseball games. Dunster and Adams will mix it up in soft ball, with Kirkland slated to play Leverett.

Tennis matches scheduled are Kirkland vs. Lowell and Dudley vs Eliot.
