When the House pucksters take to the ice at the Boston Skating Club tonight in their third series of matches, all eyes will be focused on the Winthrop-Dormitory game, which will bring together two undefeated teams in the first match of the evening.
The two teams are the only undefeated outfits left in competition. Two weeks ago the Dormitory sextet edged Adams, 2 to 1, and Winthrop walked over Lowell, 7 to 2.
Last Monday Winthrop's powerful line, sparked by Bill LaCroix, Bob Winsor, and Jim Rousmaniere, drove through Eliot to a 5 to 2 victory, while Larry Butt, Jock Elliott, and John Irving led the out-of-House sextet to a 4 to 1 win over Leverett.
Dudley Plays Adams Next
After the first game is over, Dudley, which has won and lost an equal number of contests, will oppose Adams, which has lost the only game it has played thus far. Next to face off will be the Leverett and Kirkland teams, neither of which has won a match as yet.
The final meet of the evening will be between Eliot and Dunster, who both have a victory and a loss on their record this year. Judging from the record of the two teams, it is hard to predict the outcome of this match. Eliot barely won over Dudley on December 4, but was swamped by Winthrop last week. Dunster has lost to Dudley, but took Kirkland, 5 to 2.
