NEW CONTRACT FOR WAITRESSES
Recent threats by waitresses in the House dining halls to strike will become little more than a bad dream this afternoon when representatives of the Union and of the University sign a new contract granting a preferential shop to the A. F. of L. This afternoon.
John W. Lowes '19, financial vice-president of the University, will sign the contract for the college, while Joseph Stefant, representative of A. F. of L. Locals 186 and 112, and Mrs. Eva Rankin, secretary of Local 112 will represent the Unions.
