Four new courses will be added to the curriculum of the Department of Geology and Geography, it was learned last night. Two will be given next semester, white the others will probably alternate in succeeding years.
Elementary Meteorology will be offered by Hurd C. Willett, associate professor of Meteorology at M.I.T. as a half course beginning in September. The course was given for 40 years by Robert DcC. Ward, professor of Paleontology up to his death in 1931, and has not been in the curriculum since.
Regional Paleontology will be given by Edward A. Ackerman, instructor in Geography, in the second half year. Charles F. Brooks '11, professor of Meteorology will head a course in Paleontology of North America.
