SPECIAL TRAIN TO TRANSPORT WILLKIE VOTERS TO MISSOURI

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An Invitation to all Missouri Willkie supporters who are willing to travel 1000 miles to vote for their candidate was issued yesterday by Charles Carroll, a Yale Senior, who is sponsoring a trip to Kansas City and St. Louis in order to get around the state law which forbids absentee voting.

Carroll has reserved an entire car on the train leaving in time to get to K.C. on Tuesday. The tariff for the round trip, according to his estimate, will amount to less than $40, and the personnel will be Willkieites from all the New England colleges. Harvard headquarters for the trip are the Willkie Club offices at 2 Plympton Street.

The Willkie Club is also sponsoring trips to New York City on election day to circumvent the absentee balloting laws in New York State.
