Yarding Basketballers

Yarding intramural basketball started off yesterday in a swirl of dust as eight fighting aggregations opened their season in the Hemenway Gymnasium.

The Bunglers bereaved the Dashing Daisies with a 31 to 19 Walloping in the initial contest. The Termites wormed out a victory from the Tigers by 25 to 14. Later in the afternoon, the Witches slapped down on the Snookies 38 to 8, while the Pansies coyly took the final game from the Floor Walkers 24 to 22.
