LOCAL ARP TO HOLD CLASSES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Students remaining at college during the Christmas vacation will have an opportunity to earn Federal Air Raid Warden insignia by attending classes to be held at the Rindge Technical School.

The curriculum to be followed will be the regular course set by Massachusetts, and used throughout the state. It will take 36 hours of work, including 20 hours of Red Cross training. Meetings of the course will be held each Monday and Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 o'clock, beginning tonight. Classes scheduled for Christmas and New Year's Eves will be held instead on Tuesday of those weeks.

Several courses in air raid defense are being run for the citizens of Cambridge, and Harvard students are welcome in any of them. Those who will be at college during vacation but can not attend the evening classes may go to the meetings held for high school students in the mornings.
