Speaking on "The Role of Science in National Defense," President Conant will join President Seymour of Yale in leading a forum on "The University and National Defense" in New Haven on February 11.

Arranged by a joint committee of Harvard and Yale Alumni, the symposium will be open to the public. Dr. James Rowland Angell, President emeritus of Yale, will preside.

The subject of Dr. Seymour's talk is "The University's Responsibility for the Students' Understanding of the Political World Around Them."
