NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Announcing the beginning of an eight week competition for Freshman crew manager, Roger I. Lee '41, varsity manager, last night invited all interested members of the Class of '44 to attend the competition's first meeting in the Managers' Office of the H.A.A. at 7:30 o'clock tomorrow night.

The competition, which is open to all Freshmen in good standing, can be counted as a substitute for required physical training. According to Lee, the work consists of two or three afternoons a week at the Boat House.

The winner of the competition is chosen Freshman manager and is awarded a major numeral. The runner-up will receive a minor numeral and will be named assistant manager. The first three men in the competition will accompany the crew to Red Top for the Yale races.
