His ex-Honor and Governor, James Michael ("Call Me Jim") Curley raised a vindictive voice in the wilderness yesterday afternoon at the Mothers Day Program of the Cambridge Lodge of Elks in a vitriolic condemnation of the strark immorality shown at the Freshman Smoker.
"It seems like blasphemy at this serious hour in our country's history for the oldest educational institution to herald to the world that it entertained a strip-teaser and that the students indulged in stripping themselves," said the "Kingfish of Massachusetts."
Pausing for breath, the silver-tongued ex-politico concluded with, "Harvard may educate men, but it has failed to give them the moral and strong will without which no nation can endure."
