GRIM POSTERS AID OLD CLOTHES DRIVE

Beginning today and heralded by militarily pessimistic posters, the Old Clothes Drive sponsored by Phillips Brooks House will run until Christmas vacation, unless its initial success is reached by a previous deadline on Thursday.

Old clothes of every sort, size, shape and description are desired by the solicitors and spaces have been provided on the posters for the occupants of rooms to sign up to have their rooms canvassed.

A grim change from last year was presented by new material notes creeping into posters. Reflecting a general trend towards draft-pessimism, it urges students to get rid of their old clothes in a good cause before their raiment becomes O. D. or Navy Blue.
