Apparatus Work May Be Used in Exercises

Additional Classes Relieve Overcrowding in Old Groups

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Apparatus work may be introduced in conditioning classes after the Christmas holidays if the gymnastic leaders' course is successful in training a group of undergraduates to lead these exercises, Norman G. Fradd, conditioning program head, announced yesterday.

This training class is now meeting from 7:30 to 8:30 o'clock every night Monday through Friday on the first floor of the Indoor Athletic Building and will continue until the Christmas holidays. All who are interested in apparatus work are invited to attend, Fradd said. Students will received a major athletic credit for the class.

New Conditioning Classes Begin

Several new conditioning classes have been started in order to alleviate the crowed situation in the present groups. These classes, which can accommodate 30 students each, are now meeting everyday at 2, 3, and 4 o'clock in the Special exercise Room at the Indoor Athletic Building. Tony Lupien '39 has charge of the 2 and 3 o'clock classes, while Lyal Clark leads the 4 o'clock class. Fradd urged undergraduates to take advantage of these new classes.
