Featuring the card in the University Boxing Championships today and tomorrow, will be a bout between 200-odd pound Mike Brody, and 132-pound Johnny "Red" Bullitt, in the "heavyweight" class. To the casual observer, this looks like a case of legalized murder, but Bullitt, who fought in the New England Amateur Championship Monday night, is a real master.

"Red," Now England A. A. U. Champion, is a junior, who has a lot of boxing experience behind him. He is hoping to get a job teaching English, or one in the field of Social Service. Brody, former Annapolis athlete, is no slouch with the gloves either.

Don Twombly, former Oregon-Washington State Champion will fight Bullitt is the 135-pound class tomorrow. The two have met twice before in university championship, and Bullitt has won by as eyelash each time. Don, incidentally, passed his physical test for the Marines yesterday morning. Although he was turned down when he applied the first times because of a defective left eye he crank carrot juice and milk, on the advice of the doctors, and passed with flying colors yesterday.

About 40 men have entered the tournament. In the heavyweight class, Tom Gardiner, Ted Lyman, and Jim Grunlg, from the football team, Bill McCaffery; Freshman cross-country captain, Bill Ward, Yardling football player, and Ken Pearistein, are scheduled to fight.

In the 175-pound class Charlie D'Autormont, last year's champion, Dave More, Charlie Mulcahy, and Jack Bricker are on the card, while Tom Bartlett and Frants Sporon-Fledler are in the 165-pound class.

Gone Reilly, House champ, and Joe Kameese are the top men in the 145 class, while A. Petite and Kay Brokaw lend the pack of 120's.
