LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
Hampered by sickness and exams, the Harvard track team faces Northeastern tomorrow in an informal meet in Briggs Cage. In addition to their Boston opponents, the team will run a special mile relay with a foursome from Rhode Island State College.
Captain Don MacKinnon and Dave Read figure strongly in the Crimson's hopes to take the 50-yard hurdles, while MacKinnon and Fred Carr show promise in the 50-yard dash. Ted Withington will anchor the relay team against Rhode Island State, with Jim Wheeler, Wes Flint, and Dave Read running with him. Distance runner Bob Carroll, leads Northeastern's fine aggregation this year, and Rhode Island State, although hit hard by the draft, has shown consistently good performance.
Bill Palson will run the mile then double in the six lap relay, with Senior Cross Country runners Fred Phinney and Bob Kent assisting.
