M. I. T. Beats Crimson in Dinghy Races on Charles

M. I. T. scored a three point lead over the Crimson dinghy-navigators Saturday on the Charles River Basin when the two teams competed in the first round of the two-day annual Henry A. Morss Trophy regatta.

The competition of the meet was highly complicated by a northwestern squall which capsized Dartmouth and Stevens Institute boats in the morning, but in the afternoon a semi-calm set in to make conditions passable.

One win was scored in Division A by Harvard under the leadership of Dave Noyes, who is president of the intercollegiate Yacht Racing Association.
