Although it is too early to say whether the Straus Trophy competition will continue throughout the war, inter-House athletics of some sort will continue among the three civilian Houses at least, according to Adolph W. Samborski '25, Director of Intramural Athletics.

It is very probable that, since the Straus Trophy is one which does not bear the name of the winning House each year, this may still be competed for, stated Samborski. Other trophies, which bear the names of the yearly victors will probably not be competed for. All plans for the future of House sports are still very vague, however, he stated.
