'46 and '47 to Elect Eleven For Council

Classes Will Vote Tuesday in Houses

Four members of the Class of 1946 and seven from the Class of 1947 will be chosen to serve on the Student Council is a general election on April 4. Twenty-two are nominated from the older class and 33 from the last class to begin College.

All who have attended Harvard for one term or longer may vote in the dining halls of the civilian Houses and at special boxes placed in the Eliot and Kirkland V-12 Houses.

Nominees were selected from the members of the present class committees, while others were chosen by a nominating committee made up of representatives from each of the five Houses and Dudley Hall.

The election will bring the Student Council membership up from six to the required total of 17 members. Any person who has been at the College for a term or longer may be nominated for the election by the presentation of a petition signed by 25 members of his class to the Student Council at Phillips Brooks House on or before Friday.
