Supply of Meat May Return to Normal Here Within 10 Days

If the marketing of meat swings back to normal in the wake of yesterday's lifting of price controls, University larders will be stocked with the regular quotas of meat in about ten days, according to information received last night from Aldrich Durant '02, Business Manager of the University.

Basing his estimate on the normal ten-day time lapse from slaughterhouse to dining-table, Durant added a cautious, "All I know is what I've been reading in the papers. Your guess is as good as mine." He had no figures on the recent slashing of meat consumption in House dining halls.
