With the Harvard Dramatic Club's "Adam the Creator" going into final rehearsals Henry W. L. Dana, an authority on Slavic drama, will lecture to the club and others interested in the theater on "The Work of the Capeks and their Influence on Czechoslovakian Drama" this afternoon in Fogg Museum.
Authors of "Adam the Creator" as well as the famous play of the twenties "R.U.R." in which the word "robot" was originated, the Capeks are among the outstanding Continental dramatists and are noted for their ingenious stage sets and novel plays.
Dana will include picture slides in his lecture and will discuss the historical importance of the Dramatic Club's forth-coming production which will have its opening night on Tuesday.
