H.D.C. Cancels Plans To Give Wolfe Play

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Casting and technical difficulties have forced the Dramatic Club to abandon its plans for producing Thomas Wolfe's "Mannerhouse," according to Paul S. Burggraf '48, H.D.C. President, who also said yesterday that the choice of an alternate spring play will be announced shortly.

Meanwhile, the fray between rival College dramatic organizations continued as the H.D.C. executive committee excommunicated several Dramatic Club members who participated in the recent Veterans Theater performances of "I Was King in Babylon."

Notified by postcard of their dismissal, the offending members were charged with violating the H.D.C. rule which would have prevented them from working with any other dramatic group while they were needed for the H.D.C.'s production of "Adams the Creator."
