A. W. Samborski, Director of Intramural Athletics, announced yesterday that intramural tennis matches will begin next week. The matches will be played on the courts behind the Business School, and those postponed because of rain will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
On Wednesday the matches will be Dunster vs. Winthrop and Adams vs. Kirkland. Lowell will take on Dudly, and Leverett will play Eliot on Friday.
In the intramural hardball league a well-balanced Dunster nine downed Dudley 6 to 2 Thursday at Soldiers Field. Dunster pitching held the Dudley batters to four hits, while the Funsters slammed out nine safeties.
