Lacrossemen Lose to Fast Exeter Ten, 10-3

Team Shows Luck of Scoring Punch in Well-Played Tilt

Lack of an attack with a real scoring punch once again sunk Bob Maddux's lacrosse team as they lost 10 to 3 to a well co-ordinated Exeter ten yesterday afternoon at Soldiers Field. The fact that the prep school boys has forwards who were when they got bear the net difference between the two .

The Exeter combination of Smith, and Davidson outran or off Crimson defensemen to account eight of their team's goals. George Wood, Zeke Arias, and Bill Potter each netted single tallies for the Crimson.

For the first time this year the Crimson team looked like a respectable out fit. The defensemen cleared to midfield men cleanly, few passes being intercepted by the prep school players; the Crimson forwards settled the ball down and got their attack circle going, but their shooting was definitely off. Several sure goals were lost when shots taken from close in went wild, and when screen shots hit the men who were screening for them.
