Bellboys Conquer Dudley as Adams Downs Winthrop

On the field just below Bill Bingham's brand new tennis courts, the not-so-old inter-House football season swnng into high as Lowell's Bellboys took a 13 to 0 decision from the Commuters of Dudley and Adams House downed Winthrop, 6 to 0 yesterday.

The Lowell team was impressive as quarterback Hopper snatched a Dudley pass in the first half and scampered 40 yards to pay dirt. On the first play of the second half Dudley fumbled on their own four yard line and the Bellboys recovered. Sutton carried it over for the score in three smashes.

Heath Runs 40 Yards

Adams House took their thriller from Winthrop in the waning moments of the afternoon when Sherry Heath rounded his own left end and tight-roped down the sideline for 40 yards to set up his own seering buck two plays later.

Tomorrow at the usual time and place Dunster House will face the powerful Deacons from Kirkland while Eliot's mastodons lumber out against the see-and Freshman team in a practice game.
