Dunster Five Takes Lead in House League

Victory over Adams Noses Out Leverett Squad; Commuters Move Up into Fourth Place

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dunster's basketballers took first place in the House court league from the idle Leverett House yesterday afternoon by downing Adam's celler occupants 36 to 26 at the Indoor Athletic Building, while Dudley's commuters tarried in town long enough to take fourth place from Lowell House, edging the Belboys 42 to 37.

An improved Adams outfit never had a chance aginst the league leading Funsters. Dudley had a harder time beating the Lowellites who tired at the end before the fast breaks of the subway trained Commuters.

Today's 3 o'clock starting whistle will find Eliot facing Kirkland in a battle for sixth place, while Leverett will seek to regain the league lead by taking on the third place Winthrop five.

Yesterday's startiny lineups: Dunster: lf, Okamura; rf, Rudolph; c. Brunsman; rg, MacDonald; lg, Flynn. Adams: lf, Rinaldi; rf, Fansler; c, Wheelwright; rg, Haroff; lg, Gordon.

Dudley: lf, Binder; rf, Blagotti; c, Coon; rg, Flynn; lg, Roger. Lowell: lf, Donahoe; rf, Haskell; c, Perkins; rg, Coulson; lg, Burke. LEAGUE STANDINGS Won  Lost Dunster  5  0 Leverett  4  0 Winthrop  3  1 Dudley  3  2 Lowell  2  3 Kirkland  1  3 Eliot  0  4 Adams  0  5
