New Veterans Meet Tonight to Help VA Cut Red Tape in Mailing Subsistence Allotments

Newly-enrolled veterans, who registered last Thursday and Friday, will be able to speed up delivery of their subsistence checks by attending an official Veterans Administration meeting tonight in the New Lecture Hall.

At the meeting, scheduled for 7:30 o'clock, the forms needed by the VA to insure prompt and efficient handling of checks for College men will be distributed, filled out, and collected. New veterans who fail to attend may experience serious delays in the receipt of subsistence allotments.

Almost all veteran upperclassmen continuing in the College have already filled out these forms during their registration on Monday, and will not be required to attend. Public Law 16 students are also excepted.

Tonight's meeting completes the formal mass registration procedures for the Veterans Administration until the beginning of the spring term.
