Big Sam has done it again. For the third time this winter, Sam Felton has broken his own Briggs Cage 35-pound weight throw record. He did it Saturday in an informal meet with Boston University and Northeastern by lobbing the iron ball 57 feet, 11/2 inches. The world's record is 58 feet, 71/2 inches.

Felton will compete this Saturday afternoon in the National AAU weight throw at the 171st Regiment armory in New York. The Yale meet has been switched to the following Monday to give the Crimson Olympic candidate a shot at the AAU championships.

A lot of other things happened in the Cage Saturday. The Varsity, with an eye on the Yale meet next Monday, had a soft time with B.U. and Northeastern, while the Freshmen simultaneously knocked off Andover.
