Winthrop's undefeated quintet stayed that way yesterday afternoon by toppling Leverett House 33 to 21. Dudley slammed Adams 54 to 31 in the day's other basketball tilt, while the Gold Coasters' hockey team atoned for the loss by shellacking Dunster, 3-2.

With ace center Ted Nelson benched for the whole game, Jim Powell became top scorer for the Puritans. Seven of his 13 points were made on fouls.

The Commuters pulled off to a fast start and never relinquished their lead throughout the game. By the final bell Dudley had more than doubled its halftime lead of 11 points over Adams.

Waite's 15 points made him high man for the winners while Manoff paced the Gold Coasters with 12 markers.

In swimming, Dunster's 52 points submerged Eliot's 43 and Adams' 44. Lowell House gave the best showing of the evening with 63 points over Winthrop's 43 and Leverett's 33.
