Freshman squads had better luck than their Varsity elders in Saturday's heavy Crimson sports schedule, with all but one Yardling team coming out on top when the five-fold action was over.

Making effective use of the fast break and a decided height advantage, the yearling basketball team had little trouble in turning back Penn Charter, 49 to 30, at the Indoor Athletic Building. Earlier, the '51 wrestlers had beaten Exeter, 18 to 11, as all but one Yardling either defeated or drew his rival.

At Concord, New Hampshire, the freshman skaters dropped a 4 to 3 overtime tilt with St. Paul's. Three goals were scored in the furious overtime.

In the other Freshman encounters, the '51 fencing squad routed Exeter 14-4, while the squash team shut out Deer-field, 5 to 0.
