About ten percent of the University's Red Feather quota remains to be raised, Robert H. Haynes, chairman of the Harvard Unit of the Community Fund, reported yesterday.
With an appeal to those who have not yet made contributions, Haynes announced gifts totalling close to $34,000. Faculty contributions have reached almost $25,000, while employee donations have passed the $6,500 mark. Student gifts amount to about $2,500.
The general charities drives conducted later in the year in the College and Law School will aid the Community Fund. The largest student gift so far is the $1,000 given by members of the Business School. GSAS students have contributed over $600.
