Quaker First Half Rush Overcomes Quintet, 76 to 71

Pennsylvania's hot and cold basketball team got hot in the first half against Harvard Saturday, scored 46 points, and then coasted the rest of the way to win, 76 to 71. It was the tenth win of the season for the Quakers, and the 12th loss in a row for the Crimson.

Behind 46 to 35 at the half, the varsity's Ed Smith and Bob Bramhall led a second period renaissance which failed because the team was unable to completely halt the Red and Blue scoring.

Bramhall and Pennsylvania star Heb Lyon won the individual honors with a total of 18 points apiece.

The combined point total of both teams, 147, was but one short of the Palestra record.

Barclay's men meet Boston University in the Arena at 7:45 p. m. tonight.
