Head of Radcliffe 'Seventieth' Fund Dies in New York

Mrs. Brewer Blackall, Radcliffe '12, trustee and national chairman of the Annex Seventieth Anniversary Fund Drive, died suddenly in New York Tuesday night.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow in the First Parish Church in Milton.

Mrs. Blackall had served as head of the drive since 1947, when she temporarily resigned her position as Annex publicity director to manage the campaign.

She also served as first president of the Radcliffe Club of Boston, head of the Radcliffe Alumnae Association from 1926 to 1929, and was a trustee since 1922.

In addition to her college positions, Mrs. Blackall managed the Public Relations Department of the New England Hospital for Women and Children in Roxbury, and served as a director of the Milton Hospital.
