Varsity Baseball Manager Position Comes to Foster

Hubert Conover Foster '49 of Westfield, New Jersey and Leverett House was yesterday named manager of next year's varsity baseball team. The announcement was made by Peter N. Toulmin '50, present varsity manager.

Also appointed was Ernest Einer Monrad '51 of Tucson, Arizona and Apley Court, who will manage the varsity in the 1951 season. Edward Selig Epstein '51 of New York City and Lowell House will be head freshman manager next season.

Winner of the freshman managerial competition was Aldus Higgins Chapin '52 of New York City and Apley Court. He will be assisted next year by James Thomas Stewart '52 of Maplewood, New Jersey and Thayer Hall.
