$20 Stolen From Graduate Center

A thief entered the Graduate Student's Center at 18 Appian Way between 10:15 and 10:30 p.m. last night and made off with a cash box containing $20.

The burglar entered the building by the front door, walked past a steward into a rear room, grabbed the box (although it was unlocked) and escaped through a back window. Harvard and Cambridge police have been notified.

The center is a meeting place for graduate students from Harvard and Radcliffe.
