NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

High school seniors will no longer have to indicate their college preferences on the College Board examinations according to a recent vote of the Board. The new rule goes into effect this January.

Prospective freshmen will now only have to indicate which schools they want their marks on the Examination sent to Until two years ago they were required to list colleges as first, second or third choice; in 1940 they were allowed to make two or three equal first choices although some schools still insisted on being the single first choice if the application were to be considered.
