Malott Heads Cornell

Cornell University has chosen as its new president Deans W. Malott, Chancellor of the University of Kansas. Malott, an Assistant Dean at the Business School from 1925 to 1929, will take office about July 1.

He succeeds Dr. Edmund E. Day, who retired in June 1942 because of ill health. His son, Robert H. Malott, is at present assistant to the Dean of the Graduate School of Business Administration.
